Aviation Cleaning Operative – Cairns Airport

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Aviation Cleaning Operatives to join our team at Cairns Airport. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic airport environment, delivering high-quality cleaning services with a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks across airport terminals and facilities
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Deliver excellent service and uphold safety procedures
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and medical assessments
• Eligible to obtain an ASIC (criminal history clearance)
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to reliable transport
• Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays

Desired Attributes

• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Physically fit with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and initiative
• Previous experience in floor care (stripping and sealing) is advantageous
