Maritime Security Officers are responsible for the delivery of high quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travelers and visitors transiting through Darwin, the tourism gateway to where living in paradise is a part of everyday life.
  
You will be responsible for:

• Provide high-quality front-line customer service and support.
• Identify risks and resolve issues.
• Perform general maritime security guard duties, including administration tasks.
• Work effectively within a team environment.
• Handle ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Current First Aid certificate & CPR .
• Current MSIC license (or eligibility to apply).
• Current NT Security license.
• Availability to work 24/7 roster
• The ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
• Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
• Full work rights.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Professional  presentation.
• Proven experience in conflict resolution.
• Good administration skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts).
