We are currently looking for Aviation Protection Officers to be based Mt Isa Airport on a Casual basis.

You will be responsible for:

• Undertaking screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment
• Ensuring compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Creating safe and memorable travel experiences for Travellers and visitors.

You will have

• The ability to complete/obtain a FULLY PAID Transport Security Protection Course.
• Amazing customer service skills, keen eye for detail, NO previous security experience is required.
• The ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
• The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)- (Full criminal history check).
• The availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Applied skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform all security and safety emergency procedures.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing team environment.
