MEMBERSHIP CONSULTANT
As our Membership Consultant, your role will be to help create a five-star member experience while supporting the growth of the club’s member base and revenue. You will work closely with the Club Manager and wider team to welcome new members, support member retention, drive sales activity, and contribute to a positive, energetic club culture.
  
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about fitness, enjoys speaking with people, and wants to grow their career within the fitness industry.
  
  
The Membership Consultant role also includes a structured progression pathway, allowing you to grow from an entry-level consultant into a senior sales, leadership, or club management role.

Build your foundation in membership sales, customer service, telephone communication, member onboarding, and club culture.

Step into a more senior sales and team support role, helping new team members, improving conversion, and taking ownership of key member experience initiatives.
  
Lead:
Progress into a lead consultant or future management pathway, supporting sales coaching, member engagement projects, local community partnerships, and club performance.
  
For Membership Consultants, our internal salary pathway is designed to support earning potential from approximately $55,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, performance, development milestones, and role progression.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver new member orientations and consultations.
• Support the member journey from enquiry through to onboarding and retention.
• Assist with member engagement, retention strategies, and club initiatives.
• Work closely with the Club Manager, team members, and Personal Trainers.
• Achieve monthly KPIs and contribute to club growth.
• Make outbound calls and follow up with leads, prospects, and members.
• Help create a positive, welcoming, and high-energy club culture.
• Deliver quality customer service and support to all members.

  
About You

• You have customer service, sales, fitness, or hospitality experience.
• You are confident on the phone and enjoy speaking with people.
• You are motivated by targets and enjoy achieving results.
• You are a team player who thrives in a positive, high-vibe culture.
• You are passionate about health and fitness and prioritise this in your own lifestyle.
• You enjoy learning about people and helping them start their health and wellness journey.
• You are confident using Outlook, Excel, Word, and social media.
• You must be available for evenings and Saturdays when required.

• Valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
