The Role
 
We are seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant for a Fixed-Term Contract to manage the financial reporting and reconciliation of the business portfolio. This is a pivotal role within our Finance team, ensuring the accuracy of one of our most significant expenditure lines across their prime London locations.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the balance sheet for business rates, accounts payable, accruals, and prepayments.
• Streamline data flows between our specialist property management software and our core ERP system to ensure seamless monthly reporting.
• Support the Management Accounts team with month-end requirements, ensuring all rates data is accurately reflected in the P&L.
• Provide high-level technical support to the wider reporting team on special projects as required.

 
Your Profile

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (Essential).
• Proven experience in complex balance sheet reconciliations and high-volume data management.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large-scale accounting software (ERP). A background in improving data processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand the financial impact of property valuations and rate reliefs.
• Comfortable working across different departments and explaining financial variances to non-finance colleagues.
