Credit Controller - 12m FTC - Professional Services Sector
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Hybrid: Hybrid - 2-3 office days per week
 
About the Company
 
Our client is a highly respected and leading accountancy and advisory firm recognised for its partner-led approach, technical excellence and strong client relationships. They work with a diverse portfolio of clients including owner-managed businesses, large international organisations and high-net-worth individuals. They are now looking for a Credit Controller to join on a 12m FTC to join their fantastic credit control team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy portfolio of over 600 live accounts
• Take full ownership for cash collection and debtor management
• Resolve queries promptly and help reduce aged debt across the ledger
• Handle all stages of legal recovery
• Improve processes and reporting
• Build strong relationships with Partners and internal teams to ensure best practice

Experience required:

• At least 2-3 years' experience in credit control, ideally gained within a professional services or partnership setting
• Confident communicator who can challenge when needed and maintain strong relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Understanding of legal processes or small claims court would be an advantage
