Technical Sales Executive position working for a leading Waterproofing & Roofing Product business

Kingsley Consulting is delivering an exclusive Project in partnership with a leading Flat Roofing & Waterproofing Product conglomerate who seek to recruit a Technical Sales Executive to join their business. The role will be initially a training role, leading to a Technical Sales Manager position upon successfully completing your training with the business.
Location: Mobile/Home based role, but covering Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Wiltshire/Hampshire regions
Role Overview: The role of the Technical Sales Executive is to support the Senior Area Manager with generating specification opportunities via developing strong relationships with Roofing Contractors, Local Authority Organisations and Main Contractor Clients.
Your training will be comprehensive for this position as you will receive full product training and you will work very closely for the first 12 months of your role with one of the senior sales managers within the region to learn the full sales process and the day to day responsibilities of your role. You will learn how to develop and maintain positive day-to-day relationships with existing and new clients including contractors and internal colleagues to ensure that an outstanding service is provided. Work closely with your line manager and the technical department to assist, and where required, lead on surveying projects and writing condition reports and specifications.
Candidate: Our Client is looking for someone who ideally has some experience of working in the Construction Material/Built environment that understands Surveying practices and Specification route-to-market knowledge. Experience of developing detailed written specifications and reports would be ideal although not essential as you will receive comprehensive training which will support this You must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this position and as most of the role will be client facing, you will need to be prepared to travel extensively within your week to visit clients within your area.
What experience transfers well into this role? If you have experience in Estimating, Surveying, Technical Sales, Technical Administration or relatable experience that has been gained in a Specification/Project led role, then this would be a great role for you
