Employal are proud to be working with one of our key clients in the Food Manufacturing sector, to add a Mechanical Fitter to their maintenance team. 

This is an Afternoon Shift roster, Monday - Friday, Weekends only on occasion, during shutdowns or peak times.

You will be required to manage day to day performance of plant machinery and schedule preventative maintenance tasks. 

Key responsibilities; 
Daily duties and responsibilities can include but are not limited, 

• Perform all maintenance tasks, including breakdowns, repairs and schedule preventative maintenance
• Maintain safety protocols and policies 
• Reporting of maintenance through daily logs and working closely with the maintenance manager to communicate requirements 
• Supporting team with any daily on the job technical support

Your Skills and experience; 
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience, 

• Mechanical Fitter qualification 
• Welding experience, Stainless Steel, TIG & MIG 
• Pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor belts 
• Previous experience in a maintenance and manufacturing environment
• Strong team player 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
