We are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters for contract or permanent positions across Newcastle & Hunter Valley, predominately in Workshop based environments. 

In any of the roles, you will be required to manage day to day performance of plant machinery and schedule preventative maintenance tasks. 

Key responsibilities; 
Daily duties and responsibilities can include but are not limited, 

• Perform all mechanical tasks, including breakdowns, repairs and schedule preventative maintenance
• Maintain safety protocols and policies 
• Reporting of maintenance through daily logs and working closely with the maintenance manager to communicate requirements 
• Supporting team with any daily on the job technical support

Your Skills and experience; 
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience, 

• Mechanical Fitter qualification 
• Demonstrated knowledge of Pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor belts 
• Previous experience in a Mining or Heavy industry
• Strong team player 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
