Role Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our client’s team in Norwest, NSW. Playing a key role in their manufacturing operations, this position involves MIG and TIG welding, steel fabrication, and interpreting technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work both independently and within a team, and strong leadership skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding, including steel fabrication.
• Read and interpret complex specifications, drawings, prints, and welding symbols.
• Plan, layout, and execute diversified work, including short-run production and custom fabrication.
• Set up and operate machinery in the factory.
• Conduct periodic maintenance on production machines.
• Assist with product assembly when required.
• Process production documentation in the ERP system as needed.
• Work independently and ensure all tasks meet safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience, including aluminium welding and steel fabrication.
• Ability to read drawings and operate fabrication equipment, machinery, and measuring tools.
• Experience with laser cutting or brake press machinery is advantageous.
• Basic MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to obtain forklift license.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Full working rights in Australia.
