We are proud to be working with a leading organisation specialising in Security Installations across Australia to expand their team locally in Sydney. 

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be working closely with the Project Manager and Sales team covering the full project lifecycle from early client sales through to project delivery. 


Key Responsibilities
Your day to day roles and responsibilities will evolve as you develop in the role, however, this could will include, 

• Supporting the Project Manager with all pre-installation works and ongoing site supervision. 
• Working with the Sales team to oversee and involve early conversations with clients.
• Participate in weekly project meetings to provide updates including risk mitigation, timelines and cost controls. 
• Coordinate with subcontractors and relevant authorities 
• Overseeing WHS requirements for both internal staff and subcontractors 

Your Experience
  
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Demonstrated knowledge across the Construction sector, including Civil or Concrete work
• Ideally hold a Trade background or Qualification such as Bachelor of Construction Management or Civil Engineering 
• A hands on background with an interest in progressing into project coordination or project management.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
