Employal Recruitment has an existing opportunity for Food Packers who are enthusiastic, reliable, and looking for work in Botany.

These roles are offered on a coverage basis, ideal for candidates who are flexible and looking for full-time hours.

Available Coverage Shifts & Pay Rates:

• Morning Shift: 6:30AM – 2:30PM - $30.25 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: 2:30PM – 10:30PM - $34.90 per hour
• Night Shift: 10:30PM – 6:30AM - $39.46 per hour.

Must be available to work across different shifts based on weekly requirements.

Rates increase after 3 months.
 
We have two types of jobs available and the duties may involve the following:

Cool room packer

• Making boxes
• Packing finished/packaged food items into boxes
• Working in a cool room environment (4 - 8) degrees
• Some light-medium lifting is involved

Production Line Operator

• Working in a cool room environment of 8 degrees
• Working on a food production line
• Handling & picking raw ingredients eg rice, chicken, vegetables, spices
• Cleaning of work area & maintaining hygiene and safety standards
• Labelling orders

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

• Full working rights (Monday to Friday + Weekends)
• Flexible to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts
• Comfortable working in a cool room environment 3 or 8 degrees
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment 
• Comfortable lifting 15kg and above (for cool room packer)
• Experience in or food-handling (hospitality or manufacturing) or willingness to learn
• Contactable work references
• Functional assessment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
