Drive Growth in One of Australia's Fastest-Growing Industries We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an innovative organisation at the forefront of commercial energy solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building new business, developing long-term client relationships, and selling solutions that deliver real commercial value. Working with businesses across sectors including commercial and industrial, agriculture, aged care and embedded networks, you'll help organisations reduce energy costs while supporting their sustainability goals.

The Opportunity
This is a true hunter role where you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing the full sales process and closing high-value commercial deals.

You'll work closely with technical specialists to develop tailored energy solutions while building a strong pipeline of new business across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new B2B opportunities across commercial and industrial markets.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, referrals and networking.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation and contract execution.
• Develop tailored commercial solutions based on customer requirements and energy usage.
• Present solutions to senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, referral partners and industry contacts.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and pipeline reporting.
• Represent the business at industry events and networking functions.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Account Management.
• A proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
• Experience managing consultative sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to present ROI-focused business cases.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational skills with experience managing a sales pipeline through a CRM.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
