Senior Tax Consultant  | Sydney

We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to work across a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services while mentoring junior team members.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver complex tax solutions to a broad client base ranging from large corporates to privately owned businesses.
You’ll gain exposure to a variety of tax matters while building strong client relationships and developing your leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver tax compliance engagements, including preparation and review of income tax returns
• Provide advisory support across areas such as CGT, FBT, GST, and corporate tax
• Assist with tax structuring, due diligence, and transaction support
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor and support junior staff, reviewing work and providing guidance
• Stay up to date with evolving tax legislation and regulations

About You

• 3–6+ years’ experience in public practice or professional services
• Strong technical knowledge across Australian tax
• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A proactive mindset with a desire to grow your career within a Big 4 environment
