A highly respected group of partners has recently acquired a well-established practice on the Sunshine Coast, creating an exciting period of growth and modernisation within the firm. They’re now looking to bring an Intermediate Accountant into the team to support a growing client base and contribute to the development of their evolving practice. This role offers strong mentorship from experienced partners, exposure to diverse clients, and the chance to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking environment during a pivotal stage of expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, sole traders, trusts, SMSF and partnerships.
• Apply technical knowledge across Division 7A, CGT, PSI, and FBT to support accurate compliance and high-quality advice.
• Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day queries.

About you

• 1.5+ years’ experience working within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
• Currently studying CA/CPA or willing to commence in the near future.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to continue building your technical knowledge.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
