Finance & Commercial Manager

Lead the numbers. Shape the strategy.
Our client is seeking a Finance & Commercial Manager to take charge of finance operations and bring commercial insight to every project. Reporting to the GM, you’ll oversee the full finance function, guide a small team, and support business decisions with accurate, timely analysis.

What you’ll do

• Oversee financial reporting, budgets, and forecasting.
• Manage cashflow, variance analysis, and compliance (BAS, FBT, audit).
• Provide costing and tender support, monitor overheads, and manage supplier accounts.
• Lead payroll and HR administration processes.
• Mentor finance/admin staff and improve systems (QuickBooks/Xero).

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/CPA desirable).
• 5+ years in financial management or controller roles.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Experience with job costing, stock management, and operational support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• QuickBooks or Xero proficiency; advanced Excel skills.
