Accounts Officer, Payroll 
Full-Time | Permanent | Brisbane | $80,000 - $85,000 + Super 

Join a well-established organisation supporting community services and property operations. We’re seeking a motivated Accounts Officer to support day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll assist with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, and financial record-keeping. This is a broad and hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including NDIS and rental invoicing
• Bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities
• Support payroll processing and respond to staff queries
• Maintain ledgers, assist with reporting, journals, and audits
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with funding requirements

About You

• Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping
• 1–2 years’ experience in a finance support role
• Confident using Xero (Employment Hero a bonus)
• Strong Excel, data entry, and communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with NDIS, government funding or not-for-profit services
• Background in community or property finance

Other Requirements:

• Police Check & WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
• QLD Driver’s Licence
