The Opportunity 
We are looking for a Graduate Lawyer to join our 12month Graduate Rotation Program in Brisbane. You'll rotate through three of our four practice groups, including Commercial, General Insurance, Life Insurance, Superannuation & Financial Advice, and Employers Liability, gaining broad exposure to a range of clients, matters and areas of law. Working alongside experienced lawyers and partners, you'll develop your technical skills, commercial awareness and practical legal experience. The program provides a potential pathway to ongoing career opportunities within the firm.
 
Your Role 

• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for lawyers and clients
• Assist with drafting legal advice, pleadings and court documents
• Attend court and client meetings as required
• Assist with witness statements and evidence preparation
• Brief experts and assist with matter management
• Work closely with lawyers across a range of practice areas and clients 

About You 
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Completed your law degree and be eligible to undertake legal practice in Queensland
• Completed, or be close to completing, your Practical Legal Training
• Strong academic results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work
• A genuine interest in developing your legal career
