Turks are looking for a capable Lawyer (1+ PQE) to join our high performing and successful Life Insurance, Superannuation and Financial Advice team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will work closely with our partners, associates and clients.

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• working on a diverse range of complex litigation and advice matters across life insurance;
• develop skills in insurance law and litigation;
• have regular involvement and direct contact with clients; and
• appear in various courts and tribunals. 

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• an academic qualification in law, and be admitted with a current NSW practicing certificate;
• a minimum of 1 years' PQE, preferably with experience in litigation; and
• excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.

In addition, you will:

• be an enthusiastic and personable lawyer who has a passion for client service;
• have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, as well as autonomously; and
• have a desire for personal development.
