Turks is looking for a Marketing Business Development Manager to lead our Client Care team in a generalist role!
The role
Reporting to the Head of People & Operations, this role will be encouraged to bring their own experiences and zest to Turks to drive our marketing and business development initiatives and campaigns. This is a generalist position, whereby you will oversee the entire marketing and BD function and will be encouraged to drive new and innovative initiatives.
You will manage the marketing team and will work closely with our partners, management group and clients to help build business growth.
We are open to candidates with both full time and part time working capacity, and are open as to what this looks like for you, for example, 5 days school hours, 4 day full time hours, etc.
Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- development and management of integrated marketing campaigns to include thought leadership, events, media etc;
- preparation of tenders and capability statements;
- development and management of direct marketing initiatives;
- assessment of and recommendation of sponsorship requirements;
- budget management; and
- coaching and mentoring of marketing team and professional staff where required.
About you To be considered for this role, you will have:
- experience working in a professional services environment;
- demonstrated experience managing a team of marketing professionals;
- superior eye for detail; and
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
In addition, you will:
- be a team player, providing support to your team and other stakeholders with the willingness to be hands on;
- leads by example;
- have excellent organisational skills; and
- have a client-centric focus.
