Finance Manager, SaaS Business, Central London, Paying up to £60,000
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a growing international business and take ownership of a broad and varied finance remit.
 
The role offers exposure across operational finance, payroll, month-end, management accounts, financial analysis and process improvement, with the opportunity to play an active role in developing and improving the finance function as the business grows.
 
You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders and provide day-to-day oversight of a Finance Assistant. The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to identify opportunities to improve and automate finance processes.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes across multiple international entities and contractors.
• Oversee accounts payable, ensuring invoices are processed, approved and paid on time.
• Prepare and support VAT and sales tax submissions.
• Respond to operational finance queries from across the business.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across the group.
• Take ownership of month-end balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Maintain and reconcile key control accounts, including:
  • Accrued income
  • Deferred revenue
  • Provisions
  • Fixed assets
  • Prepayments
  • Wages, PAYE and pension control accounts
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, complete and delivered within deadlines.
• Prepare financial and operational analysis to support business decision-making.
• Support the finance team with the implementation and migration of new payroll and finance systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate finance processes.
• Explore practical applications of AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Help develop robust and scalable finance processes as the business continues to grow.

 
About You
 

• Newly Qualified or Finalist level (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong practical experience across operational finance and management accounts.
• Experience managing or supporting a multi-jurisdictional payroll function.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, VAT and/or sales tax.
• Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including experience working with KPIs and business performance data.
• Experience working within a multi-entity or international group structure.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• A proactive, can-do approach and the ability to work independently.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• An interest in AI, automation and using technology to improve finance processes.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support and develop more junior members of the finance team.
