Senior Tax Consultant (FTC), Financial Services, Competitive, London / Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
A highly reputable Financial Services firm are looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to join their Finance team on a 12-month FTC. This is a rare and exciting opportunity with a focus on tax advisory work.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, the main purpose of this role is to assist with advising the business on international transactions and investments.
Your Role
- Support with transactions and advise the business on a variety of initiatives including international tax structuring and investments
- Provide information to the legal and front office teams on any impacts and risks.
- Involvement in putting together the transaction proposals and documents.
- Work with external tax advisors and deal with any issues that arise.
- Support the tax compliance team with any reporting requirements.
- Assist with training as required and help the business understand the tax implications to key deals.
- Monitor any changes in tax legislation that will impact the business.
Your Skills and Qualifications - Qualified accountant or tax professional with significant Financial Services international tax advisory experience gained in-house or in an accountancy firm.
- Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing.
- Proven ability to communicate with senior internal stakeholders and external advisors.
