Overview As the Interim Group Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality consolidated financial reporting for a complex, multinational organisation.
It is essential that you have experience in OneStream as this will be their new consolidation tool.
This role sits in a complex business and you will ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of group results and act as a key technical accounting resource for the business.
Key Responsibilities
OneStream consolidation process
Good OneStream system knowledge and the ability to retrieve data into excel to interrogate it
Assisting with testing of development work as required
Group Consolidation
Own a multi-currency consolidation
Ensure accurate consolidation of multiple entities across diverse geographies, currencies, and regulatory environments.
Review submissions from regional and business unit finance teams, challenging assumptions and ensuring compliance with group policies.
Controls
Checking that all entities have submitted and certified each month end and all balance sheets balance
Eliminations - ensuring they are working correctly (for example Investments in subsidiaries, share capital and share premium, intercompany)
IFRS 16 leases - posting the entries using our OneStream lease module
Sense checking divisional submissions
Exceptional expenses: reviewing and providing analysis for board pack
Business acquisitions and disposals - ensuring all entries are appropriately reflected in the consolidation
Year-end
Producing the consolidated and separate financial statements for the Group including all notes
Redesigning year end workpapers currently not fit for purpose, relinking to new OneStream dimensions post development work
Taking the auditors through all workpapers and answering any audit queries
Writing accounting memos on technical accounting areas such as business acquisitions, impairment testing and business disposals as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) required; Big 4 background highly advantageous.
OneStream experience
Strong technical accounting expertise with deep knowledge of IFRS
Proven experience in group consolidation within a large, complex, multinational environment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, able to influence and collaborate across global teams.
