Payroll Manager – 6-Month FTC (with potential to go permanent), London, Hybrid, up to £65k 

We’re on the hunt for a brilliant Payroll Manager to join our fast-growing finance team in London. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, but if things go well, there’s every chance it could become permanent.
  
You’ll be the go-to person for all things payroll across our global team of nearly 500 people, spanning the UK, South Africa, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. If you love precision, people, and process—and you’re ready to make a real impact—this could be your next big move.
  
What you’ll be doing:

• Running the full monthly payroll process across multiple countries and business units
• Making sure everything’s compliant with local regulations (you’re the expert here!)
• Being the friendly face for all payroll-related queries from employees and partners
• Reconciling payroll, posting journal entries, and supporting financial reporting
• Keeping up with legislation and finding smarter, faster ways to do things
• Managing employee expense reimbursements and helping with headcount forecasting

  
You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have solid experience managing payroll in a fast-paced, growing company
• Know your way around HRIS and payroll software (HiBob, Pento, Deel = bonus points!)
• Understand UK payroll rules (extra kudos if you know SA, AUS, or Canada too)
• Are detail-obsessed, great at communicating, and always up for learning
• Love improving processes and using tech to make life easier
• Have a CIPP qualification (or international equivalent)—nice to have, not essential

The company is looking to offer the successful candidate up to £65,000.
