A leading global energy and commodities trading firm, operating across a wide range of markets are seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join them for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

Joining a small team of 4, but part of the wider Finance team, you will focus on Statutory Accounting for up to 10 entities, reporting under both UK & US GAAP

**£75,000 - £85,000 per annum Pro Rata + Benefits, hybrid working with 2 days working from home**
  
Duties

• - Preparation of financial reporting statements in Excel, Word, and financial systems under both US GAAP and consolidated UK GAAP
• - Assist the Fin Rep manager with consolidation of financial statements at entity and group level
• - Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management packs with detailed analysis and commentary.
• - Enhance internal controls, reporting systems, and financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• - Drive improvements to financial reporting systems, controls, and processes.
• - Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reconciliations, and reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• - Effectively business partner with Tax, Legal, Compliance, Middle Office & Settlements Teams

  
Person Spec
  

• - ACA / CA / ACCA Qualified with 3 Years PQE gained within Financial Services
• - Strong Statutory Accounts prep experience under IFRS & UK GAAP in a multi entity organisation

Advantageous experience includes:

• - US GAAP
• - Netsuite
• - Consolidations
