A growing investment management firm is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their Private Credit team. They have over £3 billion under management with a diverse range of investment strategies over various sectors, including VC, Private Credit, Energy, and Social Housing.
This is a great role for someone in the early stages of their accountancy qualification and who is looking to build technical and commercial understanding in a fast-paced environment. This role sits within with Leading Finance team so you will gain exposure to a variety of structured and secured lending products.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate, post, and reconcile revenue from loan and lease agreements
- Maintain revenue recognition schedules and support month-end close
- Monitor accrued interest, fees, and unearned income
- Collaborate with operations to reflect cash flows and restructures accurately
- Investigate income variances and prepare audit-ready analysis
- Enhance internal controls and support ad hoc finance projects
What We’re Looking For - Experience in loan/lease accounting
- Studying AAT or early-stage ACCA/CIMA
- Solid grasp of double-entry and revenue components (e.g. interest, fees)
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with complex data
- Background in financial services, lending, or leasing would be ideal
They are looking to offer the successful candidate up to £45,000.
