Trace is recruiting a Corporate Accountant to join the Finance team of a wealth management firm based in South Birmingham. It's an extremely varied role covering financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering.
  
Your Role:

• Preparing and presenting the management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary.
• Taking ownership of balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns.
• P&L reporting and commentary analysis.
• Producing financial analysis; and supporting senior management decision-making.
• Business partnering with different departments to inform the accuracy of accounting entries.
• Supporting the annual audit process.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and re-forecast through reporting tasks.

  
Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA) from a Top 20 accountancy practice.
• Experience in financial services industry would be beneficial.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills so that you can have confidence to work with finance and business partners.
• Team player, with a willingness to learn new skills and add value.
