EMEA Risk and Assurance Manager, Global Real Estate Company, £70,000 - £100,000 | Central London | Hybrid Working
We are supporting a highly respected global real estate business in their search for an EMEA Risk and Assurance Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Internal Audit Manager from practice to step into a regional industry role, taking ownership of risk, compliance, and control across mainland Europe and the wider EMEA region.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the risk management framework across mainland Europe and the EMEA region.
• Coordinating risk activities, including risk register reviews, compliance reporting, and working closely with country teams.
• Reviewing Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) submissions, identifying gaps, and agreeing corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Managing and maintaining country risk registers, ensuring consistency across jurisdictions.
• Overseeing compliance initiatives in line with group policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting country visits to review controls, compliance processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Providing ongoing advice and support to local and regional teams on risk, compliance, and control matters.
• Tracking and managing outstanding actions arising from audits, SAQs, and country reviews.
• Preparing and consolidating key risk reporting for Group Legal, Risk, and Internal Audit.
• Supporting the rollout and implementation of new policies across Finance, AML, Anti-Bribery, Property Management, and Valuations.

Candidate profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Strong Internal Audit experience at Manager level (or equivalent) from a Big 6 practice.
• Demonstrable expertise across risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Industry experience in Real Estate or Professional Services would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Able to build strong relationships across multiple countries and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to risk and assurance.
