The Opportunity
Rightway Recruitment is partnering with a well-established electrical contractor to find an experienced Project Manager / Estimator for their growing Service Division in Kelowna.

Key Responsibilities Project Management & Service Delivery

• Manage electrical service work orders and projects valued up to $2 million
• Oversee projects from estimating through completion
• Coordinate procurement, scheduling, labour, and project resources
• Monitor project budgets, billing, and overall financial performance
• Identify and mitigate project risks, deficiencies, and scope changes

Estimating & Tendering

• Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and change orders
• Submit competitive tenders for service and small project work
• Review contracts and identify commercial risks or unfavourable terms
• Support project planning to ensure successful execution

Business Development & Client Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
• Identify opportunities for additional service work and future projects
• Collaborate with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and end users
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each project

Operations & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with field staff, foremen, and internal stakeholders
• Attend site visits throughout project execution as required
• Participate in project closeout reviews to capture lessons learned
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, on budget, and meet client expectations

Project Scope

• Electrical service work and small capital projects
• Commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, and public sector facilities
• Project values up to $2 million
• Full project lifecycle including estimating, procurement, scheduling, financial management, and closeout

What You Bring
Required

• Minimum 2+ years of Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating experience
• Electrical Trade Certification, Electrical Engineering Degree, or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma
• Experience managing electrical service projects
• Strong understanding of project financials, estimating, and contract administration
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience using Accubid (Pro & Change Order)
• Experience with Procore
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
• Experience working within service divisions or electrical contractors

Working Environment

• Based in the Kelowna office
• Combination of office, client meetings, and site visits
• Collaborative team environment with experienced project managers and estimators
• Reports into the Service Division leadership team
