The Opportunity

Rightway Recruitment is representing a well-established electrical contractor with a strong reputation across industrial and commercial construction throughout British Columbia.

They are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead electrical operations at one of the most significant industrial facilities in the Lower Mainland. This is a high-profile leadership role overseeing a diverse range of projects, from small office renovations and power/data installations through to major infrastructure upgrades and multi-year capital projects.

This position is ideal for a hands-on electrical leader who enjoys managing multiple projects, mentoring crews, and building strong client relationships while maintaining a visible presence in the field.

Project Scope Projects include:

• Industrial electrical installations
• Power and data infrastructure upgrades
• High-voltage electrical projects
• Facility modernization initiatives
• Major capital improvement projects
• Multi-year industrial contracts

Project durations range from short-term service and renovation work to large-scale projects spanning multiple years.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project Management

• Lead multiple concurrent electrical projects
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and schedules
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Perform take-offs and assist with labour estimates and quotations
• Manage procurement and material planning

Leadership & Crew Management

• Supervise crews ranging from 3–20 electricians
• Support Lead Hands and Foremen across multiple projects
• Drive productivity, quality, and safety performance
• Mentor team members and foster a positive site culture

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, consultants, and site stakeholders
• Act as the primary field representative for the company
• Maintain clear communication throughout project execution

What You Bring

• Red Seal Electrician certification
• Previous experience as a General Foreman, Senior Foreman, or Electrical Superintendent
• Strong industrial and commercial electrical background
• Experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to estimate labour, plan work, and manage project execution
• Client-focused and safety-driven mindset

Strong Assets

• Industrial facility experience
• Marine, shipyard, or heavy industrial experience
• Experience with high-voltage infrastructure projects

Working Environment

• Monday to Friday schedule
• Primarily site-based role
• Occasional weekend and after-hours work required
• Combination of field leadership, client interaction, and project coordination
