Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload, they are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in the office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take ownership of multiple residential projects while working alongside an established leadership team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing projects from pre-construction through to closeout and thrives in a fast-paced environment where communication, accountability, and quality delivery are highly valued.
You will work closely with ownership, site teams, consultants, and clients while managing a portfolio of residential projects throughout the Lower Mainland.
Key Responsibilities Reporting to the VP, the Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Leading project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Managing RFIs, change orders, site instructions, and project documentation
- Monitoring project costs, forecasting, labour productivity, and budgets
- Leading project meetings and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Conducting site visits and supporting field teams throughout project delivery
- Coordinating procurement of materials and equipment
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Supporting commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained across all projects
- Providing leadership and mentorship to project teams as required
What You Bring • 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
- Proven experience managing high-rise concrete residential projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract administration
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience using Procore and other construction management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Nice to Have
- PMP designation
- Engineering degree, technical diploma, or trade background
- Plumbing or HVAC field experience
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 base salary (depending on experience)
