Rightway Recruitment is currently partnering with one of British Columbia’s leading electrical contractors to identify a Project Manager / Estimator – Service for their Victoria team. This opportunity sits within a growing Service Division that supports clients through every stage of a project, from estimating and tendering through procurement, scheduling, project execution, and financial management. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of experienced project managers, estimators, and field personnel while working directly with clients to deliver high-quality service solutions.

Key Responsibilities Project Management & Service Delivery
- Manage projects from estimating through completion
- Oversee project schedules, procurement, labour, and project execution
- Monitor project financials, billing, and forecasting
- Identify and mitigate project risks, deficiencies, and scope changes
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, on budget, and meet client expectations
Estimating & Pre-Construction
- Prepare estimates, quotations, and tender submissions
- Review project specifications and contract requirements
- Evaluate project opportunities and change orders
- Review contracts and identify potential risks or onerous clauses
- Support successful project planning and execution strategies
Business Development & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and end users
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout project delivery
- Support long-term client retention and growth initiatives
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with field staff, foremen, and internal stakeholders
- Participate in project reviews and lessons learned discussions
- Support collaboration between operations, estimating, and field teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
Project Scope / Role Scope
- Commercial electrical service projects
- Institutional and healthcare facilities
- Transportation and infrastructure projects
- Tenant improvements, maintenance, upgrades, and retrofit projects
- Electrical service and construction projects from estimate through closeout
What You Bring Required
- Electrical Trade Certification, Electrical Engineering Degree, or Electrical Technologist Diploma/Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management and/or Estimating experience within the electrical industry
- Experience preparing estimates, tenders, and change orders
- Strong financial and project coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
Nice to Have
- Electrical service project experience
- FSR-B Certification
- Experience with Accubid estimating software
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Teams, and related construction software
Working Environment
- Based in Victoria, BC
- Combination of office, client meetings, and occasional site visits

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience)
