The Opportunity

Rightway Recruitment is representing a well-established mechanical contractor with a strong reputation in the Lower Mainland service market. The company provides HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and heating services across commercial, institutional, and residential clients, with a growing service division and a strong focus on technical excellence.

With continued growth, they are looking to add a Senior HVAC/R Service Technician to their team. This is an opportunity to join an established service department led by experienced industry professionals who are committed to mentoring, training, and developing the next generation of technicians.

The company currently employs 13 service technicians and is actively expanding, with plans to grow the team to 15 technicians by year-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and heating systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service
• Support apprentices and junior technicians when required
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards and regulations

What You Bring

• Strong field experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and heating systems
• Gas B Ticket required
• Red Seal certification preferred
• A-Gas Ticket considered a strong asset
• Experience servicing commercial and residential mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Professional, customer-focused attitude
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving abstract

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $64.00/hour depending on experience
