Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Technical Customer Support - Security professional to support their service operations team.
This role is responsible for managing incoming service requests, coordinating and dispatching technicians, and supporting the delivery of security service work from initial call through to completion. You will act as a key point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal teams.
This is a fast-paced, coordination-focused role suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working in a technical service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Coordination & Dispatch
· Receive and manage incoming service requests via phone and email
· Perform initial assessment and basic troubleshooting of service issues
· Prioritize, schedule, and dispatch security technicians
· Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of work orders
Work Order & Administrative Support
· Create and manage work orders through to completion
· Support billing processes and ensure accuracy of documentation
· Track materials, shipments, and service-related documentation
· Maintain and update CRM systems and internal records
Team & Technical Coordination
· Communicate with technicians to support service delivery
· Follow up on outstanding work orders and service activities
· Coordinate documentation, including drawings, reports, and project files
Customer Support
· Provide high-quality customer service and act as a key point of contact
· Assist with resolving service issues or escalating when required
· Maintain clear communication with clients throughout service delivery
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or customer support role
· Experience working with technicians or within construction, electrical, or security environments preferred
· Basic knowledge of security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion) is considered an asset
· Experience with basic technical troubleshooting in a service environment preferred
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience with CRM or service software (e.g., JDE, Procore) is an asset
· Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
· Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset

Compensation and Benefits:
· Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)
