Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Service Coordinator - Controls to support their Building Automation service team.
This role is responsible for coordinating service requests, dispatching technicians, and providing administrative and customer support to ensure smooth delivery of service work. You will act as the key link between customers, technicians, and internal teams.
This is a fast-paced, coordination-focused role suited for someone highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Coordination & Dispatch
· Receive and manage incoming service requests via phone and email
· Assess service needs and coordinate initial response
· Schedule and dispatch technicians based on priority and availability
· Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of work orders
Work Order & Administrative Support
· Create and manage work orders from initiation through to completion
· Support billing processes and ensure accuracy of documentation
· Upload and maintain service documentation within internal systems
· Track and expedite material orders as required
Team & Technical Coordination
· Communicate with technicians to ensure alignment on service delivery
· Follow up on outstanding work orders and service activities
· Support coordination of technical teams in the field
Customer Support
· Provide high-quality customer service and act as a point of contact
· Assist with initial troubleshooting and service request clarification
· Prepare follow-up recommendations and service summaries for clients
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or administrative support role
· Experience coordinating technicians or working within construction, mechanical, or controls environments preferred
· Basic understanding of Building Automation or Control Systems is considered an asset
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience with systems such as Procore, JDE, or other CRM/service platforms is an asset
· Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
· Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset

Compensation and Benefits:
· Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)
