The Opportunity

This role is suited to an Intermediate to Senior Electrical Estimator looking to play a key role in pre-construction and tendering for projects ranging from $1M to $100M. Reporting directly to the Chief Estimator, you'll contribute to pricing strategy, mentor junior estimators, and support continuous improvement across estimating systems and processes.
Hybrid and remote options are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions
• Develop quotations for projects valued between $1M-$100M
• Obtain and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Review estimates for scope, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Draft proposals and manage tender submissions
• Maintain and improve labour, material, and pricing databases
• Support indirect cost and overhead development with senior leadership
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Mentor and support junior estimators

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in Canada
• Experience across institutional, healthcare, infrastructure, commercial, or industrial sectors
• Electrical trade background or AScT., E.I.T., or P.Eng. designation
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
• Proficiency with Accubid and LiveCount; strong Microsoft Office skills
• Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or BIM experience considered an asset
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring junior team members preferred

Compensation, Work Environment & Benefits:

• Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
