Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to support upcoming high-rise and large-scale projects across Metro Vancouver.
This role is ideal for a Mechanical Project Manager who thrives in structured, well-run environments and wants exposure to major projects with real career progression. You’ll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout, working closely with construction leadership, site teams, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilitie- Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading assigned projects from planning through execution and closeout
- Establishing project goals, expectations, and clear communication with internal teams
- Understanding and managing scope, contracts, and project documentation
- Developing and maintaining site-specific document control systems
- Partnering with site leadership to implement Procore systems familiar to field staff
- Coordinating health & safety plans, QA/QC programs, commissioning, and progress tracking
- Acting as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Producing and managing detailed project schedules and critical path activities
- Supporting design coordination, shop drawing reviews, and RFIs
- Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks
- Procuring sub-trades, materials, equipment, and managing logistics
- Managing BIM / Revit coordination and prefabrication efforts where required
- Overseeing project financials, job costing, forecasting, and reporting
- Managing manpower planning alongside site supervision
- Preparing and submitting monthly progress draws
- Managing change orders, pricing, site instructions, and drawing revisions
- Supporting O&M manuals, owner training, and project turnover
- Providing direction and mentorship to Project Coordinators
- Collaborating with accounting, HR, and operations to ensure project success
What You Bring:
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in Canada
- Strong background in plumbing and mechanical construction (high-rise experience preferred)
- Ability to lead by example and build trust with field and office teams
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Procore, AutoDesk, Trimble, and BIM tools is an asset
- Formal plumbing training or trade background considered a strong asset
- Project Management education or certification is an asset
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Site-based work across the Lower Mainland
- Overtime as required
- Active construction site exposure, including uneven terrain
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation Range- $120,000 – $150,000 base salary, depending on experience. Additional offerings include: - Performance-based bonus program
