About the Company

Our client is a well-established electrical contractor specializing in residential and commercial projects across the Lower Mainland. They offer a laid-back, team-focused environment with strong communication and a supportive culture. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead pricing, tendering, and pre-construction support on upcoming projects.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for residential and commercial electrical projects
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and pricing strategy
• Identify scope gaps, cost risks, and contract clarifications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
• Develop labour breakdowns, material lists, and project budgets
• Support pricing for change orders, small projects, and service-related work
• Attend occasional site visits to review existing conditions and gather information
• Assist in improving estimating templates, cost databases, and internal processes

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documentation
• Electrical trade background, electrical technologist diploma, or equivalent industry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Accubid or similar software is an asset
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Office-based, with occasional site visits
