Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with general contractors and stakeholders. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs ranging from $50,000 to $20 million, utilizing tools like Bluebeam and Accubid, and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects, focusing on ICI, tenant improvements, and commercial high-rises.
• Collaborate with the project team to gather essential information for estimating.
• Communicate effectively with general contractors, demonstrating professionalism and punctuality during project meetings.
• Utilize software tools (Bluebeam, Accubid) to streamline the estimating process and enhance accuracy.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Work closely with the estimator team to ensure consistency in estimating practices.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions that may impact project costs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and services offered by the contractor.
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Accubid, and other estimating software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, open-plan office environment.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits and meetings.

Compensation:
