The Role:
As BIM/VDV Designer, you’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery by developing, coordinating, and managing Building Information Models and Virtual Design & Construction processes. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate models, drawings, and documentation while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can adapt to evolving project needs, solve problems efficiently, and support seamless integration of design and construction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D models using BIM software platforms.
• Coordinate models with multiple trades to identify and resolve clashes.
• Prepare accurate drawings, details, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, ensuring models and drawings align with project requirements.
• Support field staff with layout, installation, and design clarification.
• Contribute to implementing and improving VDC standards and workflows.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and client standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of BIM/VDC design experience in the construction sector.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical building systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
• Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and drawing production.
• Familiarity with Procore or other project management tools is an asset.
