Job Description The company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC projects from initiation to completion. Reporting directly to company leadership, this role is responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with client expectations and regulatory standards. This is a site-based role for a high-rise residential concrete tower project in Coquitlam, requiring hands-on project oversight from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement detailed project plans, outlining schedules, resource allocation, and key milestones. Define project scope and deliverables to align with contract requirements and quality benchmarks.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry regulations, including municipal, provincial, and federal standards, while adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage project budgets, track expenses, and oversee procurement to ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Subcontractor Management: Coordinate sub-trades, develop LOIs, define scopes of work, and structure agreements. Negotiate contracts and oversee service delivery to maintain project timelines.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead project teams, fostering clear communication among stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners. Supervise a Project Coordinator and work closely with field teams and BIM specialists.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address challenges during the construction process, proactively mitigating risks to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client and company objectives.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date project records, complete weekly management checklists, and work alongside accounting teams to finalize project closeouts.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Participate in routine site inspections and safety meetings, ensuring strict adherence to company and client safety policies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in project management within the mechanical construction sector.
• Post-secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP certification or relevant training is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Revit, Sage, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD, Revit, and BIM software is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
