Position Overview:
  
As an Electrical Project Manager / Estimator in the Service Division, you will oversee small to mid-sized electrical service projects across Vancouver downtown while also handling project estimating responsibilities. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution, managing service contracts, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to coordinate multiple service projects efficiently, and expertise in estimating project costs accurately.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee multiple service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their electrical service needs and providing expert solutions.
• Coordinate with electricians, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and budgets for service projects, ensuring profitability and cost control. 
• Conduct site visits, assess project requirements, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Analyze project specifications, labor, material, and equipment costs to develop competitive estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators and operations, to optimize service delivery and efficiency.
• Monitor project performance, prepare reports, and implement improvements for future service projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical service project management and estimating, preferably in an electrical contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and estimating processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software, estimating tools (Accubid), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with budgeting, estimating, and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of BC electrical codes and safety regulations.
