Overview A leading Premium Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join its Neurosciences Department.
The successful candidate will provide specialist neurological assessment and management across inpatient and outpatient services, working closely with Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Radiology, Cardiology, and other specialist teams.
Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Manage:
  • Stroke
  • TIA
  • Epilepsy
  • Headache and migraine
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Movement disorders
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Neuropathy
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • Dementia
  • Neurodegenerative conditions
• Participate in acute stroke pathways.
• Interpret MRI and CT brain imaging.
• Review EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies where applicable.
• Perform neurological examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate rehabilitation for patients with neurological disability.
• Participate in multidisciplinary neurological case conferences.
• Provide patient and family counselling.
• Contribute to clinical governance, education, audit, and research.

Requirements

• Recognised Medical Degree
• Recognised Specialist / Consultant qualification in Neurology
• Minimum relevant Consultant-level experience
• Strong clinical experience across general neurology
• Valid UAE medical licence or eligibility preferred
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Fellowship in Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Neurophysiology, or Neuromuscular Medicine
• Tertiary hospital experience
• UAE/GCC experience
• Academic and teaching experience
• Existing UAE licence or eligibility
