Consultant – General Surgery
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Estimated Salary

• AED 90,000 – 140,000/month (all-inclusive)
• AED 1,080,000 – 1,680,000/year

Overview A premium private healthcare group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon to lead advanced surgical services within its hospital network.
This role is suited to senior surgeons with strong operative exposure, leadership capabilities, and experience managing high-volume surgical caseloads.
Clinical Responsibilities

• Lead:
  • Elective and emergency surgical services
  • Advanced laparoscopic procedures
  • Complex abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery
• Supervise:
  • Junior surgeons and surgical support staff
  • Multidisciplinary perioperative care planning
• Participate in:
  • Surgical governance initiatives
  • Quality improvement and patient safety programs
  • Emergency and on-call surgical coverage

Requirements

• Consultant-level General Surgery qualification
• Advanced laparoscopic expertise preferred
• DOH eligibility or UAE license preferred
• High-volume tertiary or private hospital experience advantageous
