General Practitioner – NICU

Position Overview
We are recruiting a General Practitioner with NICU experience to join a premium private hospital in Ajman. This opportunity is ideal for physicians with neonatal intensive care exposure who are seeking to further develop within neonatal and pediatric critical care services.
The successful candidate will support Consultant Neonatologists and NICU teams in the management of newborns requiring specialized neonatal care.
Clinical Responsibilities

• Assist in the care and monitoring of neonates within NICU settings
• Participate in:
  • Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
  • Routine neonatal assessments and follow-up care
  • Monitoring ventilated and high-dependency neonates
• Support:
  • Family communication and counseling
  • NICU documentation and patient management plans
• Work collaboratively with neonatal nurses and multidisciplinary teams

Service Structure

• Hospital-based Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Multidisciplinary neonatal and pediatric support environment
• Rotational and shift-based clinical coverage

Candidate Requirements

• MOH or DHA License / Eligibility required
• Minimum 3+ years NICU experience preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary care teams
