Consultant Transplant Surgery
Location: Abu Dhabi & Al Ain, UAE
Salary: AED 120,000 – 220,000/month (all-inclusive, highly flexible based on transplant volume, international reputation, and subspecialty expertise)

Position Overview
We are seeking an internationally experienced Consultant Transplant Surgeon to join a leading transplant and hepatobiliary surgical program within a major premium healthcare group in the UAE.
This is a senior-level opportunity suited to surgeons with established expertise in liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, and complex HPB surgery within tertiary or quaternary transplant centres.
Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform:
  • Liver transplantation procedures
  • Kidney transplantation surgeries
  • HPB surgical interventions
• Manage:
  • Complex perioperative transplant care
  • High-acuity surgical patients
• Participate in:
  • Organ transplant evaluations
  • Multidisciplinary transplant planning and management

Subspecialty Interests Strong preference for expertise in:

• Liver transplantation
• Kidney transplantation
• Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgery
• Complex transplant program development

Service Structure

• High-acuity tertiary/quaternary surgical environment
• Multidisciplinary transplant teams including:
  • Hepatology
  • Nephrology
  • ICU and oncology services
• Access to advanced surgical and perioperative infrastructure

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead transplant program initiatives and development
• Mentor junior surgeons and surgical teams
• Participate in academic, teaching, and research activities
• Contribute to governance and quality standards within transplant services

Candidate Requirements

• Western Board Certification / CCT / Fellowship preferred
• Extensive transplant centre experience essential
• Established operative volumes and leadership experience highly desirable
• Existing DOH, DHA, or MOH licensure / eligibility advantageous
