Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Salary: SAR 50,000 – 75,000 per month (Tax-Free)

Position Overview A prestigious healthcare provider in Riyadh is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist to join its specialist medical team. The successful candidate will deliver expert care in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, while contributing to service development and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of paediatric gastroenterology conditions including:
  
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Celiac disease
  • Chronic abdominal pain
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Liver diseases and hepatitis
  • Pancreatic disorders
  • Feeding and nutritional disorders
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy).
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including paediatrics, surgery, nutrition, and radiology.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors and allied healthcare professionals.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in research, continuing medical education, and service development activities.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Western Board Certification (e.g., CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board, Australian Fellowship, or equivalent).
• Fellowship training in Paediatric Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience at Consultant level.
• Eligible for registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Strong English communication skills (Arabic is advantageous but not required).
