Specialist Gastroenterologist
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: AED 18,000 – AED 40,000 per month + procedure-based incentives

About the Role A leading healthcare provider in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join its expanding specialty services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive gastroenterology care with a strong focus on diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders
• Perform upper GI endoscopy (gastroscopy) and lower GI endoscopy (colonoscopy)
• Conduct patient consultations, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care
• Treat common GI conditions such as GERD, IBS, gastritis, peptic ulcers, IBD, and GI bleeding
• Ensure safe procedural practices and effective post-procedure monitoring
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records in line with UAE regulations
• Work closely with anesthesia, nursing, laboratory, and radiology teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS with Specialist qualification in Gastroenterology
• Valid MOH or DHA license (active or transferable)
• Demonstrated experience in gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• A professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach
