General Practitioner – Surgical Department
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: AED 35,000 – 55,000 per month (all-inclusive, tax-free)

Job Summary We are seeking a competent and motivated General Practitioner to support the Surgical Department of a reputable healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will work closely with surgical consultants and specialists, providing pre-operative, post-operative, and inpatient medical care while ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical support to surgical patients during pre-operative and post-operative phases
• Conduct patient assessments, daily ward rounds, and clinical reviews
• Assist in managing post-surgical complications and coordinate care with surgical teams
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Ensure accurate documentation of clinical notes, discharge summaries, and care plans
• Respond to on-call requirements and emergency situations as per duty roster
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in audits, clinical governance, and CME activities

Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Recognized General Practitioner qualification
• Eligibility for DHA medical licensure in Dubai
• Previous experience in a surgical, inpatient, or hospital setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Good communication and organizational skills
