Job Summary: A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a focus on burns to join their surgical team. This permanent position involves delivering specialist plastic and reconstructive surgical care, including operative and clinical responsibilities, in a high-standard multidisciplinary hospital environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive burns and reconstructive surgery, including acute and elective cases.
Provide clinical oversight for inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
Supervise, mentor, and train junior surgeons and residents.
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
Contribute to strategic planning and leadership within the surgical department.
Requirements:
Recognised Plastic Surgery qualification from a Tier-1 country (e.g., UK CCT/FRCS).
Minimum ~2 years post-specialisation consultant experience in a hospital setting.
Demonstrated expertise in burns, upper limb, and reconstructive surgery.
Strong operative and clinical skills with experience managing complex cases.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
